FASHION DIVERSITY 2009

During London Fashion week, I went to Fashion Diversity held at the Museum of London. This show features up and coming talent, all hoping to make it in the future. Yesterday the catwalk consisted of 8 finalists and last years winner, Brett Martindale-Durning all showing their amazing collections. Sitting on the front row you really do get to examine the clothes properly and there were safety pins and rips all over the place for some of the designers. However Brett Martindale-Durnings collection named contour séduisant looked the most proffesional overall, we can really see why he won last year. The clothes were extremely flattering and looked very comfortable of the models as they strutted on the catwalk. At only 15 he's presented his inspirational designs on the catwalk many times before, this future fashion house really does look promising. Many great designers have all come from London, including the likes of Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen. So is London becoming the future Fashion Capital?
